What would you buy if money was no option?

Most Expensive The best App to find out...
Review posted Fri 13 Apr '12  ·  1 comment

What would you buy if you won the lottery, i wonder. They reckon that most lottery winners spend everything they win in the first five years and, I can only assume, that they spend all their money in Most Expensive. Here is a fun entertainment app that brings out the Paris Hilton in all of us. It's a fantasy shopping app (well, I guess the fantasy depends on how much money you have in the bank) that let's you search and find some of the most expensive items that money can buy - assuming you have the dosh, of course. ... Tower defence strategy - the way it was meant to be!

Sentinel 3: Homeworld The best tower defense...
Review posted Thu 12 Apr '12

Every now and again, a game comes along that redefines a genre. Sentinel 3: Homeworld is just such a game. It is a tower defence strategy game that pits you against the usual waves of ever more formidable enemies, but it does so with such flare and panache that we felt it worth a mention here. Firstly, you have a Commander, a giant robot (Mech Warrior style) that forms the basis of your defence. This commander "levels up" as you progress through the game and attributes such as "shot strength", "health", "PSI (the effect he has on nearby turrets)" and ... Read more

Wollage, the social-scrapbook creatively share your...
Review posted Tue 10 Apr '12  ·  3 comments

Scrapbooking was huge during the nineties if I remember rightly but i guess it got rather swallowed up by the social networking phenomena over recent years. Wollage re-activates the scrapbooking theme and brings it up to date with the new century technology by turning it social. Rather than painstakingly sticking photos, precious memories and a myriad of other stuff into your scrapbook and then filing it under the stairs for viewing later by a select few, Wollage brings your collective memories into a social setting by allowing you to create your scrapbook online and then sharing it with friends and ... A travelog for your airport

Airport Chatter Know Before You Go
Review posted Tue 10 Apr '12

Let's face it, airports really don't have a reputation for fun places to go in search of a good time. The only people who enjoy the experience of expensive food, long walks to terminals, high security and jewelry that you don't want are planespotters and small children. Airport Chatter is a new social travel application that gives you the opportunity to discover just what your airport has to offer in terms of amenities, services and shopping and where to find it.   Airports in general are not really people friendly places although I'm sure that the people who design them ... Is this file sharing management app the best of the year?

PocketCloud Explore Search, view, organize and...
Review posted Thu 5 Apr '12

Well first up, let's get the plaudits out of the way. PocketCloud Explore was named Best Mobile App at the recent Mobile World Congress by Laptop Magazine and MSNBC Gadgetbox. It was also named Best App Ever by another organization. So why does utter so many accolades? Because it's the missing link that we've been looking for, that's why. Explore let's you grab all your photos, multimedia and documents on your computers while you are out and about on your smartphone. Wherever and whenever you like.   Gee, we've really moved on over the last few years when attempting to ... Read more
