Clever social media monitoring for better ROI

Campalyst Connecting Social Graph to...
Review posted Tue 7 Feb '12  ·  2 comments

Campalyst is a very clever social media monitoring application that analyzes trends and conversations from your Facebook and Twitter accounts. It's clever because it's monitoring analytics allow you to measure and increase your ROI in real terms rather than just counting the number of 'likes' you might get. Your 'likes' might well bolster your ego but, unless they result an increase in business or a better awareness of your product or event, they aren't going to do a lot for your bank balance.   Campalyst is a social media management suite of tools that help you turn interest into sales. ... Cool photosharing for iphone

PicYou iPhone App Share your photos in style!
Review posted Mon 16 Jan '12  ·  2 comments

It seems to be the current fad to fiddle around with your photos and share them with your friends. When I say fiddle around I mean to warp them with colors and effects. Mind you, if I see one more green tinged photo using Hipstamatic I think I'm going to scream. PicYou is a new social photoshare application for iPhone that gives you lots of effects to play and warp your photos and share them with your friends and the big wide world on Facebook and Twitter. Social shopping deals

Bizspeaking The Twitter for real deals
Review posted Sat 7 Jan '12

If you love shopping for great deals online then Bizspeaking could well be a social application you will want to have a good look at. With this deal app you can connect with fellow shoppers around the world and see the items they have bought and presented. Compare prices from all over the world and, hey...it might be cheaper to buy it from where they are rather than where you are. Then you can share your goodies via your Twitter or Facebook accounts. Wipe all your Twitter tweets in one go

TwitWipe Delete ALL your tweets in one...
Review posted Tue 27 Dec '11

One of the great things about this Twitter tool is it's sense of humor. From it's rather amusing name through to it's wittily written demeanor - I think you'll get to like this place. So, what does the amusingly titled TwitWipe do? Well, you know if you write something stupid on Facebook you can easily delete it? Try doing that on Twitter. Not a chance. If you say something dumb on Twitter (and who can say they haven't?) it's there forever. TwitWipe solves that problem by letting you delete all your tweets with one click. Gone forever. Read more

Nano blogging in seven words or less

Hycku Say How You Feel In Seven...
Review posted Thu 22 Dec '11

"He was a man of few words" is a phrase you don't hear so much these days. It seems that everyone has an opinion on everything and no one is afraid to express those opinions. But half the trouble there is that where Twitter restricts it's tweets to 140 characters that is sometimes even too much. It would be interesting to condense that to a smaller figure to make one's opinions virtual soundbites of your thoughts. Hycku is a Nano-blogging service where you can deliver your ideas and thoughts in just seven words or less. Read more

Review posted Mon 5 Dec '11

If you want to be up there with the big boys in your Fantasy Football League you really do have to be on the ball all the time. If you put a fair amount of time into your team you will get a fair amount of success. So how do those guys always seem to be at the top of the league each year? Its like they have inside knowledge or something isn't it? Well in truth they probably use a fantasy sports tool like BallNotes. A better way to do your fantasy sports research. Read more

Take your argument online

CouplesSpark Share. Connect. Sustain. Find...
Review posted Thu 1 Dec '11

You can certainly get it all off your chest on this site and believe me some people really do. This isn’t a site for kids who’ve just had their first argument and think their whole worlds caving in, this is aimed fairly and squarely at those couples who are midway through a life sentence and suddenly find out it’s not what it used to be. Well that’s the impression you get when you read the site’s blurb but of course it’s open to anyone who fancies getting in on a conversation about what goes on behind bedroom doors, or shower curtains ... Collaboration for news with rich media content

Civicboom Collaborate with rich media...
Review posted Thu 1 Dec '11

It is a fundamental human trait to need to ask questions and get responses. In the old days when we tended to live in smaller communities this was possible with face-to-face communication. However, as society has grown it has become impractical for one person to communicate their thoughts and news with everyone on a daily basis. Then newspapers and printed media entered the scene offering content and insight to a broader crowd. Then came the digital age and then came CivicBoom. It's a news app that connects the people that have news content with the people that need it. Read more
