Arsenation Arsenation Info Visit

One of the things that sets the biggest sporting teams apart from the also-rans in their field are their rabid supporters who will support their team through thick and thin. NFL has the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, New England Patriots and  New York Giants, baseball has the NY Yankees and the LA Dodgers, basketball has the Lakers and the biggest of all - soccer (or football, as it is known in most territories) has the Spanish clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona and finally, there are England's Manchester United and London's famous Arsenal. Formed in the 19th Century, Arsenal - or The Gunners - is one of the oldest sporting teams in the world and some of it's supporters, known as Gooners have put together this Arsenal sporting application that features a virtual 'everything you ever wanted to know about the team."

While this Arsenation app for Android is not officially sanctioned by the club, it is run with passion and enthusiasm by the people who really matter in a sporting team - the fans. The aim is to provide quality information with opinions, debate and even a wee bit of controversy. They regularly provide the latest transfer news and gossip and are always keen to hear the opinions of members. If you are interested in submitting an article and have an opinion about something specific to The Gunners they would love to hear from you. Maybe you want to throw up the theory that manager Arsene Wenger - over 15 years at the helm - has had his day in the sun and it's time for him to move upstairs in favor of a new manager with new ideas. Or maybe you want to ask the question of why he has sold so many of his stars over the years to teams that have gone on to be very successful. Where Arsenal are concerned, there are always plenty of questions to be asked. You can read the Arsenation blog anytime and wherever you are in a mobile friendly format, keep up-to-date with the live Twitter and Facebook streams and browse the Arsenation Store for a customized smartphone cover.

Arsenation probably isn't the bee-all and end-all of Gunners apps but it does have a lot of heart and soul about it. It's very simple to use and the red and white looks great on the Android. As I mentioned earlier, soccer fans are some of the most fervent supporters of them all and there are few quite as passionate about their club as Gunners fans. If you are an Arsenal fan in London you are saturated with news about your favorite club anyway but for those of us that live far away from the melting pot that is the EPL, Arsenation is a good place to start with the Gunner addiction. Besides, somebody obviously had a good sense of humor when they came up with the name!!!
