I’m not quite sure about this one. For a start the developer might want to go back and film his demo video without the glare of a fluorescent light behind the camera. The short clip is hard enough to fathom in the first place without that sort of distraction.
If you can ignore that then the app is a cash management tool developed especially for the iPhone, iPodTouch and iPad. It looks pretty basic with manual entry required for all inputs and balances. It can however support multiple cash, bank and credit card accounts and handle transfers between them. Entries can of course be tagged and categorized for easy search and analysis purposes.
The look of the app on screen is clear enough and the reporting function allows for daily, weekly, monthly and annual analysis across all accounts. The seemingly ever present pie chart for expense apps is not missing either and its color coded presentation highlights the splits in expenditure with actual totals listed underneath.
If you want to extract the information and make more sense of it on a big screen then the data can be exported in CSV and OFX format but to be honest there are probably better examples on the market if you’re looking for that.
One final puzzle that could do with a little clarification concerns the plans and price range on offer. The site says you can download a free version or pay $1.99 for a standard version. What it doesn’t make clear however is what the difference is or if the charge is a one off or a monthly charge.
Still it’s not the only things that’s a little unclear on this one.
Conclusion
I think I’d be looking elsewhere first for a cash management tool to be honest and there are plenty of them around to make a decent comparison.
