It's been quite a long wait, but it's finally here. iFile Download Manager for iOS is the long awaited download application that many have been hanging out for. So, why has it been so eagerly anticipated? Well, this cloud-based app lets you download multiple files of any type from Safari and store and view them on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. And yes, that does mean iOS5! Being based in the cloud means that you can easily wherever you are and whenever you want to.

IFile Download Manager is the long-awaited download manager for jailbroken iDevices that lets you download nearly every format of file from Safari and store and view them on your iOS device wherever you are. It is the perfect way to download, access and save all the text, video and audio files that you want, whether found locally on the web or in the cloud. Unify your file management and download experience and download any file type from the web and view them on demand whenever and wherever you need to! What's more, this powerful set of powerful tools let's you do everything through your normal iDevice Safari browser and can be run as a background application for up to ten minutes at a time. It features an embedded browser giving users the option to search out files and download them from the web without ever leaving the app. It is fully integrated so that, when file links are clicked, they can be redirected to iFile Download Manager for automatic download!

The beauty of this download management application is that it can make your iDevice almost as functional as your PC when linked with a file browser like iFile. The bad thing though, is that even though the developer has been working on this app since iOS 5 was introduced, there has been more than a few people who have searched out other ways of achieving these goals out of frustration and a few have even gone down the Android route. Many have used iCab Mobile but it can be notoriously laggy at times. IFile download Manager does it simply and easily and, at under five bucks, it's a pretty cheap way to solve a problem. The big hope is that, with iOS 6 just around the corner, we don't have to wait ages for that one.
