At first glance I thought this app, which helps fitness coaches keep in sync with their athletic clients, was a little quirky. The whole thing kicks off not with any coaching schedules or exercise tips but with an overview of the financial health of the business. Think about it for a second though and it makes complete sense, after all, the coach is running a business like anyone else and apart from keeping on top of the workload needs to make sure it’s paying too.
As a coach the first thing you’ll see when logging in is a graph showing how income is holding up over a period along with some notes on client numbers and any unpaid invoices. All invoices can be raised, searched and edited within the system. This dashboard is not totally financial however and does carry recent feedback comments from athletes under your instruction as well.
The financial functions aside, Coachulous does have a pretty comprehensive set of athlete management tools, and being fully collaborative it gives each athlete their own account page where they can check progress and communicate with their coach.
Setting a fitness schedule couldn’t be easier with drag and drop capability and automatic notification of it sent to athletes. Once the sweating begins you can monitor and manage progress through a series of graphs that are completely customizable to your needs. No matter what it is you want to measure the systems graphing tool will help you do it.
All in all this app has a good mix of features that covers both the business side and the business end of being a fitness coach. With all data stored and searchable you can not only check out on an athlete’s fitness record you can check their payment history too!
Conclusion
Business is business they say and getting it all under control with one app is surely a bonus even for a fitness coach. The financial side of it is simple but effective whilst the actual training functions cover all situations in a clear and user friendly format.
