Judging by my Facebook feeds of late, it would appear that the latest fad in photo presentation has changed from Instagram to multi-Instagram with frames. I'm sure most regular Facebook users would agree that their friends' are serving up 2, 3 or 4 photos and turning them into collages that make them look like film posters. Well, maybe that's a bit of a stretch but you know what I mean. Nostalgio is a very cool free photo application for iOS that features a whole bunch of templates for creating photo collages, borders and filters to sparkle-up your social media feeds.
Nostagio is an easy to use photo app that lets you create everything from a collage of a friends childhood family photos or to quickly snap a couple of new shots of yourself in a Wildcats shirt to instantly celebrate your team's victory. It delivers a fine bunch of tools that create great photo collages that are perfect for your social media feeds. It's been around for a while but it just had a big update! This new version boasts plenty of new amazing features including even more collage templates suitable for between one and four pictures. There are also plenty of colorful borders to match all your photos as well as reflecting the mood that you are trying to present. Experiment with your collage until you achieve the desired result. Change the border style, modify your photos and switch between square, landscape and portrait layout! Nostalgio features nine different photo filters ranging from the obvious popular ones as well as other, rather unique ones and lots of other photo tools to customize your pictures. And for those of you who want to show your masterpieces to the world, you can enjoy posting them to Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr and the enhanced Twitter sharing for iOS 5. iPhone 5 will be supported in the next update.
Photo apps always go down well in the FeedMyApp offices and Nostalgio, with it's cool interface and simple usability, will join Photo Toaster, Instagenius and Facebook Cover Maker as regulars on my iPad. Remember though that you need a camera on your iDevice to take new photos. The only really new feature of this nice little photo app are some of the interesting filters it offers but it's main objective is to create collages anyway. Besides, these days I find photo projects work even better when several apps are applied in each project. So next time you pull on your Wildcats shirt to celebrate victory be sure to commemorate it with a fine photo collage app like Nostalgio.
