It was interesting to read recently that one of the first things that will change as a result of the debate involving Charter and Public Schools in New York will be the opening up of resource material to everyone for free. If all goes according to plan, resource and reference material will be available for everyone to see instead of being the reference library for those who could afford it. Knowing how most governing bodies enjoy their rhetoric and tend to drag their feet when it comes to putting their money where their mouth is, we'll have to wait and see if and when that happens. However, for many resources, you don't have to wait. Learn Bazaar is a massive social network community of teachers, tutors, parents and students that features a huge amount of free educational resources as well as giving all sides the opportunity to make education a more enjoyable experience.

Learn Bazaar was developed on an initiative from Classteacher Learning Systems and is totally dedicated to the education and intellect world. The developers could sense the need for a place where teachers, students and parents could share resources, communicate on a single platform and interact on various topics and issues regarding education. Basically, it is a unique learning and education application and works pretty much like many other social networking sites but was designed and developed with the specific vision of providing a place where an individual teacher or student could connect with their own student, teacher or tutor as well as other students and teachers from all around the world. It has built into a very large community of teachers, parents and students and has a mission to empower both educators and students into turning teaching and learning into an enjoyable experience for all. The app's systems and solutions have transformed teachers into facilitators of learning by empowering them with tools like multi-disciplinary interactive curriculum, templates and virtual labs as well as skill assessment programs and benchmarking services. Teachers can share up-to-date resources and upload or download the free educational resources of their choice whenever they want. They can also create public and private groups where they can discuss and share any topics privately or publicly as well as expanding their horizons by connecting with other teachers and students from all over the world and expand their network - not to mention their knowledge.

Learn Bazaar is one of the forerunners of the way that teaching will evolve in the future. It offers a 'social network with benefits' for students, teachers and parents with free study materials and tutorials and study groups and forums as well as the opportunity to have more direct contact between students and teachers. The app is not dissimilar in theory to Facebook - which has become a part of our lives since its inception - except that it's raisin d'être is to improve the learning resources available and make the learning experience a more pleasant one for all involved. Learn Bazaar is a constantly updated, easy-to-use and understand app that features everything from worksheets to research projects and job opportunities to expert advice. There is even a competitive element where you can win prizes. Not quite what you'd expect in a learning app. Get on the school bus now. It's free.
