Headlynes Headlynes Info Visit

There's always the old epithet of 'less is more' but it isn't always true. For some there's no point in getting nothing but the whole story when reading the news. All the juicy information on all the stories. However, that isn't always possible to achieve. We lead very busy lives but that doesn't mean that you can't keep up with what's going on in the world. Headlynes is a microblogging social news application that let's you read and deliver news headlines in 77 characters or less so you can get a kinda potted history of the top stories going around.

Headlynes is a new service that allows you to view and submit news headlines with all headlines limited to 77 characters. This keeps the headlines very short, snappy and quick to digest. Headlines are then rated by readers to work out which are the most interesting or newsworthy. It's very easy to contribute to Headlynes, too.  You don't even need to register or login. Simply rate the headlines by clicking the buttons next to each headline. By rating them you will enhance the viewing experience for other readers.  If you wish to submit headlines, however, you will need to register - for free, of course. Once registered you can visit any category and submit a headline as you desire on technology, sport, politics or business or anything else you may choose.

Some will abhor this potted version of the top news stories and consider it a trivialization of the news medium. However, it's a simple fact that our lives are filled up with so many distractions these days that it can be hard to keep up. Maybe you are an avid news follower but are away from home or on holiday. Headlynes helps you keep in touch with the rest of the world, choose which stories you want to followup on as well as having a bit of voting fun in the process. It may be all the news you need.
