Spare a thought for those poor sales guys out there trying to hit their targets in an ever competitive market. When it comes to performance monitoring there aren’t many jobs as transparent as selling. You either do deals or you don’t and if you don’t then you’re not performing the task you’re being paid for.  B12 Leads is an app that can make the job even more transparent but as a lead management system it could also have a positive side to it as far as the sales team is concerned. The reason I say this is because as well as tracking leads from start to finish the system can also help generate them from web pages meaning pipelines will grow and with that hopefully more opportunities to reach targets will be created.

If you’re running a sales team then this has everything you’ll need to keep a close eye on who’s doing what and how well they’re doing it. If your existing leads are spreadsheet based then it’s easy enough to import the details and give them the B12 treatment. This will enable you to assign them to team members, add tasks to them and ensure they don’t go cold.

The app has a great look to it and the home page dashboard in particular is well organized. A quick glance at it will show you summaries of all open leads and opportunities along with a list of To Do’s and pie chart analysis.

The reports section on this one will be the eye opener for those businesses unused to a proper lead management system. Heads of sales will love it but underperforming sales people might want to look away!

A series of charts and graphs will show pipeline analysis and the value of each lead should it successfully close. These reports can be looked at on a team basis or drilled into further for individual performance which if you’re flying is fine but if not then start worrying.

Conclusion

Sales meetings will become a lot more meaningful with the aid of B12 Leads as the waffle of a sales person will have to match the data already in the hands of the boss. If it doesn’t the writing could be on the wall.
