BartenderApp: Shaken...not stirred...

BartenderApp BartenderApp Info Visit

I can see this one providing endless hours of fun and endless hours of hangovers starting the day after the party. It’s also probably a good idea for this post-Christmas time of year when most of us have got a load of half-drunk bottles of all sorts sitting in our cupboards. That bottle of sweet vermouth for example that you had to get in for Auntie Betty or the sherry your mum likes but only ever has one glass of is often redundant once the festivities are over but with Bartender you can get mixing!

You could also play a rather alcoholic game of Russian roulette of course but I would hate to be accused of encouraging irresponsible alcohol drinking. What you get with this one is a neat little cocktail suggestion function that could cut out the wastage and actually introduce you to something quite delicious.

There are a number of cocktail recipe websites around and even more books I imagine but with those you have to look for a cocktail and then see if you fancy the ingredients. With this one you enter the ingredients you have and wait for it to tell you what you can make with them.

There are other functions of course making it a fully rounded cocktail lovers app. You can search cocktails alphabetically and browse by ingredient too. There is a "Top Cocktail" page and even a random one if you feel like another surprise. All the cocktails listed are rated and ranked by discerning drinkers.

If you are really into your cocktails the site also has an online store where all sorts of mixing and other drink related paraphernalia can be bought. Go on, mix it up!

Conclusion

I reckon if the guys behind this one can create something similar for hangover cures life would be pretty perfect. They can leave out the raw egg though!
