Fast calendars to print

Print a Calendar When all you want is to print...
Review posted Thu 5 Jan '12  ·  1 comment

I could go into raptures over the multitude of things that Print a Calendar does but I won't. I could say that it does somersaults and can cook dinner at the same time but I won't either. I could even tell you that you could interact with the calendar and flashing lights would come on at regular intervals but I'm not going to tell you that either. The truth is that there is only one thing that this calendar application can do and that's to provide the user with the raw materials to print a new calendar for each month ... Read more

Supreme scheduling for small businesses

Schedulista Let your schedule manage...
Review posted Thu 12 Apr '12

There used to be a time when the only way that you could book an appointment was to call up the shop, only during working hours of course, and speak to the receptionist. Now you might consider that a good thing but, in these busy times when we all have a lot more on our plates, more and more people prefer the flexibility to call out of working hours. Schedulista is an appointment and schedule application for small business that lets customers book appointments online at any time of the day or night and from anywhere - whether they be ... Time To Enjoy is an event schedule app for people who have some spare time on their hands. But while it could quite easily be used as an event finder and schedule calendar in your home town, where it comes in really handy is if you are on holiday or spending some time in an area you don't know so well. Time To Enjoy transforms your mobile into a source of information to search, plan and book your day's activities based on where you are in the world and what you would like to do.    While Time To Enjoy ... Stop forgetting! Remember to FollowUp.

FollowUp.cc Stop forgetting! Remember to...
Review posted Mon 5 Sep '11

FollowUp.cc is a really good concept for what is essentially a straightforward reminder service. The beauty of this app is that it effortlessly blends into existing technology that we all know and use day in and day out - the humble email. Therefore it is wonderfully simple to use, even for non-techno minded folk. Basically you copy the FollowUp people into any emails by using their email address and designating a time you want to be reminded about that email - for example 5hrs@followup.cc. Once you've familiarized yourself with the basic concept it's really easy to adopt their system into ... Read more

An illustrated record of your life...

MOREDAYS Enjoy your extra days. With...
Review posted Wed 30 Nov '11

I’m a great believer in people writing some sort of record of their lives and I don’t just mean the rich and famous. There a far too many gravestones in the world with no story attached to them as far as I’m concerned and so getting people to jot down just some basic daily or weekly events is a start. There are wider implications of course and even though many people will consider their lives mundane and of no interest whatsoever to anyone else the generations that follow will probably see things in a different light. From a social history angle, ... Read more

Sprout Robot

SproutRobot Grow your groceries
Review posted Wed 14 Dec '11

Here’s a topical one. You can’t watch a cookery programme these days without the celebrity chef banging on about the pleasure of growing your own fruit and veg. As if he actually gets down and dirty with a spade and a hoe! He’ll be too busy in make-up or signing his latest recipe book. It does however have a certain charm about it but for people of a certain age it’s something that your dad did. Add to that the likelihood that he learnt the skill from his dad and you start to get the picture; why did I never ask ... Read more
