Do you remember when your dad put his suit jacket on when he went to work he would always fill the pockets with stuff before he left the house? With mine it was always his glasses, his wallet, various pens and pencils as well as a note pad which was filled to capacity with loose sheets drawings, notes and phone numbers. While it was kinda endearing, I'm pleased to say that a better solution has been found for the tatty notepad and it's contents. Help Sam draw a line to his girlfriend in this fun game

Sliding Sam Fun and original gameplay
Review posted Fri 28 Sep '12  ·  169 comments

Sliding Sam is a fun and rather unique game that has become huge in Europe and evokes the same kind of gameplay that saw the Super Mario franchise explode into megastardom a few years ago. But, rather than having to deal with a short fat man with a mustache, Sliding Sam is a much more user-friendly character. Our hero Sam is a very cute penguin (and everyone loves penguins, don't they?) and his quest here is to join his distant girlfriend. The big difference here though is that your aim is to get him closer to her by drawing lines ... Read more

When you are sitting in a lecture, a seminar or meeting you don't really want to be the one tapping away on your keyboard while the action takes place. Apart from anything else, it's kinda distracting and you can hire a stenographer to do that. Remember when you were in collage with that foolscap pad you used to take to lectures. It was covered in doodles and stuff but it did carry the crux of the information whether it be through diagrams or your note taking. Soundnote is the modern day foolscap pad with one big difference - not only ... Read more

Draw Something Free is a draw and word game for Android, iPhone, iPad and IPod Touch that has turned into something of a phenomenon. Developed by Zynga, it's a hilarious and totally addictive game that owes a little to the word game Pictionary. Zynga's previous games include Farmville, Cityville and Words With Friends. When you see your friends staring at their smartphone screen for ages as they concentrate on drawing before bursting into laughter you'll have a pretty good idea that they are playing Draw Something Free.   Here is, without doubt, the most popular free social drawing and guessing ...
