Get planners with local knowledge to plan your trip

tripnirvana Marketplace for trip planning
Review posted Tue 4 Sep '12

TripNirvana could be described as the vacation planner for the lazy holiday-maker but that really wouldn't be doing it justice. Where this app differs from the many other travel guides is in its personality and personalities. TripNirvana have teamed up with over 500 travel experts to provide a personalized holiday marketplace anchored by the knowledge and expertise of the experts that come along for the ride (er...not literally but certainly  in spirit.)  Just build a skeleton of the trip you wish to take and TripNirvana will connect you with a planner with local knowledge to make sure your trip fulfills ... Search your local community for tradespeople

New Skillendar A neighbourhood outreach and...
Review posted Thu 16 Aug '12  ·  2 comments

It used to be your local paper or phone book that you went to when you needed a local tradesman or service but sadly, the local paper probably went out of business and the days of the phone book are well numbered. So how do you connect with skilled people in your local community these days? Online, that's how. Skillendar is a community social network application that lets you look into your own neighborhood to find services and skilled tradespeople that might not have a Main Street shop at their disposal but have all the skills to complete the job ... A travel app that focuses on people as well as places

Touristlink The Next Step in Social Travel
Review posted Tue 10 Jul '12

Touristlink is a very social travel application that pins its reputation on the personalities of the locals. Whereas most travel apps deal with the places you go and the things you see, this one tells you all about the people you meet and the folks who run the hotel that you are staying in. But, of course, it doesn't end there. Touristlink also helps you find great places to visit and offers great deals from local entrepreneurs. It also has a social element where you can meet other travelers and share travel stories and favorite destinations.   Touristlink is the ... Read more

Buy and sell all the stuff you wont find in the campus bookstore

Campus Bazar All your campus needs
Review posted Fri 4 May '12

Campus Bazar is like a Craigslist that specifically caters for local students. It's a free one stop marketplace that can be localized to your specific college and provides a place where all student needs can be satisfied - well, maybe not everything a student needs - but you can buy and sell everything from unwanted game consoles to text books. You can even advertise for a new room mate too, if you like. In fact, it can have everything in it that you won't find at the campus shop.   Campusbazar is a free web application for college students that ... Read more

Earn money while predicting the future

Review posted Wed 22 Feb '12

I'm not sure who this addictive little analytical and social marketplace game is aimed at but it has sure got to me. TrendFor.me could be used to assist the betting man in working out whether to have a flutter on a certain event or it could be a great way to see what people think of a specific scenario and see if they can predict what is going to happen. Either way, I was sucked in pretty easily. CPP let's you learn the opinions of your community, ask your own questions or just seeing what people are predicting will happen ... Read more

Freelancer writers, right the write and cut out the middleman!

Content Spree Freelance Writing Marketplace
Review posted Mon 20 Feb '12

As a freelancer myself, especially in the early days, I certainly paid my dues to enough "content agencies" to know where the larger slice of the pie ends up. Content Spree, on the face of it at least, appears to have added some welcome transparency to the process. On top of that writers who sign up and the businesses they write for get to communicate rather than leaving the management of a project to the guy in the middle.  It’s not all free of course but writers will at least know how much a potential employer is offering before Mr ... Review posted Fri 30 Dec '11  ·  5 comments

What better time to review an app that promises to turn clutter into cash than just after the majority of us will have had our clutter collection greatly enhanced! Christmas brings some great joy in the shape of presents but it also brings some comical jaw dropping moments when the wrapping paper hits the floor and you’re left with one thought;  "just what were they thinking of?" Zuujit is a social marketplace where you can list any items you want to sell, ship them and get paid for them. And staying with the subject of the season of goodwill it can also ... Read more

Online marketing meets the social network

BeamSnap.com Truly Social Marketplace
Review posted Fri 23 Dec '11

BeamSnap is a revolutionary free online marketplace that utilizes the strengths and advantages of selling sites like eBay and the social interaction of the social networking experience. Here is a marketplace app that provides a platform for it's members to share, buy and sell specific products. One of the best things about BeamSnap is that every product has an equal chance of getting promoted to fellow members and followers no matter whether they are cheap or expensive.   BeamSnap is unlike any other social networking site. What makes it different from sites like eBay and iOffer is that it is ... Read more

Changing the way we find and source business opportunities

BeanSprout Find the right partners
Review posted Thu 1 Dec '11

If you’re constantly on the lookout for opportunities to expand and develop your business then no doubt you have experienced all of the joys of cold calling and flogging yourself around conferences and trade fairs. Neither of these solutions represents a cheap option and in a lot of cases won’t even provide a solution but there is a better way to project your businesses requirements to a very wide audience without even leaving your office.
