Once upon a time, the most frustrating aspect of a meeting away from your office was when you checked in your briefcase for a certain piece of paper only to find that you had forgotten or mislaid it. These days, with a computer close at hand, we seem to have alleviated much of that problem. Away from the computer is a different matter, however. Unless you had the forethought to email yourself the information so that it was easily accessible you still have the same problem. Your information is at one place and you are at another. Review posted Wed 17 Apr '13  ·  291 comments

There are some apps that are quite complicated and are packed with features - many of which you will never use, I might add - and then there are others that have a single purpose and get the job done. AvailabilityCalendar sits nicely in the latter basket. This simple to use app is one of those that you either want or don't want. If you want a calendar to pin on your website so people can check the availability of something you are renting out then it doesn't get a lot simpler or a lot better than this one. This ... Review posted Fri 24 Aug '12  ·  4 comments

I had an occasion recently where I needed some official papers notarized. I thought it would be pretty easy to organize but in the end it took me a good two days to get things signed. Everywhere I went seemed to turn into a problem as I either hadn't taken the right papers with me or they were too busy to deal with me right now. Oh for an online notary where I could do everything from my home with all my papers at arms length. The amount of time (and money) it would save me is ridiculous. Well,  NotaryNow ... Read more

It's tough times in the real estate business these days. It's certainly harder to sell a house in this tough economic climate. As a consequence there is far more pressure on the real estate salesman to actually make a sale or rent a property when the opportunity crops up. So whenever there is someone that wants to take a look at a property you are certainly going to want to fit them in somewhere. ShoMojo lets owners, managers and agents schedule rental and sales showings to give you the best chance of filling the vacancy.   ShowMojo takes the pain ... Read more

NYC Apartment hunting can cost less

Naked Apartments Renting just got easier!
Review posted Thu 15 Dec '11  ·  5 comments

Apartment hunting is a scary business especially in NYC. It can also be an expensive business and not only in respect of the rental prices as there is often "Mr Ten Per cent" to consider and he likes his cake at both ends of the transaction. Naked Apartments can go a long way to not only help you find what you’re looking for but in a lot of cases succeed without you having to stump up the broker fees that go with it. It used to be that confirming the quality and integrity of potential tenants was a lengthy and time consuming business. Over the years, things have improved enormously for landlords but to thoroughly check out the credentials of a tenant there were a number of hoops you still had to jump through in order to be totally sure. And with so many foreclosures out there you have far more tenants entering the market. Therrd is a one stop shop for all things connected to leasing your property with confidence. Read more

I’m sure we’ve all been guilty of it, rummaging through drawers when trying to find the instruction manual or guarantee for the kitchen appliance that’s just decided to stop working. To be honest I still am guilty of it and this app was clearly developed with people like me in mind. Having said that, anyone who has perhaps been more organized historically and kept all of their home maintenance information filed neatly away will still find this app more than useful.
