Effective real estate management from A to Z

Orange Pear Online Real Estate Management
Review posted Wed 26 Aug '15

Now that the real estate industry has pretty much recovered after the debacle of the GFC in 2008 I would have thought that there would be a plethora of apps on the market to guide realtors through the complicated procedures of buying and selling property. But while doing research for this new app, I was surprised that there weren't heaps of similar apps to compare it to. The fact is, there are plenty of apps that deal with specific parts of the real estate process but very few that cover all aspects of the buying, selling and renting of property. ... Read more

Take the hassle out of conference room bookings

Roomzilla Effective and easy to use...
Review posted Sun 9 Aug '15

You wouldn't think that there would be too many problems in managing physical conference room reservations, would you? One would figure that you just invite people after checking their schedules and then find a room and work out a convenient time for everyone. There are even models in Outlook and Google Calendar that work on that system. Unfortunately, it's not always that simple. What tends to happen is that some rooms get double booked while others remain empty - causing frustration on all sides. After years of testing, a company in Cambridge, Massachusetts has put together a faultless, cloud-based solution ... Read more

Review posted Sun 22 Feb '15

If you are anything like me when you rent a new property, the first place you'll head for is the shower. For me, if there's good water pressure and it stays hot for a while then I'm half way there. Unfortunately, that methodology has let me down a few times because water pressure could well be the least of your problems. Revaluate is a free property data and review application for home buyers, renters, real estate agents and brokers that delivers all the pluses and minuses of a property that you might be interested in. At the moment, the app ... Read more

Review posted Mon 25 Nov '13

Once upon a time, the most frustrating aspect of a meeting away from your office was when you checked in your briefcase for a certain piece of paper only to find that you had forgotten or mislaid it. These days, with a computer close at hand, we seem to have alleviated much of that problem. Away from the computer is a different matter, however. Unless you had the forethought to email yourself the information so that it was easily accessible you still have the same problem. Your information is at one place and you are at another. A simple, flexible and personalizable calendar for your renting website

AvailabilityCalendar Need an availability calendar...
Review posted Wed 17 Apr '13

There are some apps that are quite complicated and are packed with features - many of which you will never use, I might add - and then there are others that have a single purpose and get the job done. AvailabilityCalendar sits nicely in the latter basket. This simple to use app is one of those that you either want or don't want. If you want a calendar to pin on your website so people can check the availability of something you are renting out then it doesn't get a lot simpler or a lot better than this one. This ... Notarize your documents from the comfort of your own home

NotaryNow Notarize documents online...
Review posted Fri 24 Aug '12

I had an occasion recently where I needed some official papers notarized. I thought it would be pretty easy to organize but in the end it took me a good two days to get things signed. Everywhere I went seemed to turn into a problem as I either hadn't taken the right papers with me or they were too busy to deal with me right now. Oh for an online notary where I could do everything from my home with all my papers at arms length. The amount of time (and money) it would save me is ridiculous. Well,  NotaryNow ... Read more

Review posted Thu 15 Dec '11

It's tough times in the real estate business these days. It's certainly harder to sell a house in this tough economic climate. As a consequence there is far more pressure on the real estate salesman to actually make a sale or rent a property when the opportunity crops up. So whenever there is someone that wants to take a look at a property you are certainly going to want to fit them in somewhere. ShoMojo lets owners, managers and agents schedule rental and sales showings to give you the best chance of filling the vacancy.   ShowMojo takes the pain ... Read more

NYC Apartment hunting can cost less

Naked Apartments Renting just got easier!
Review posted Thu 15 Dec '11

Apartment hunting is a scary business especially in NYC. It can also be an expensive business and not only in respect of the rental prices as there is often "Mr Ten Per cent" to consider and he likes his cake at both ends of the transaction. Naked Apartments can go a long way to not only help you find what you’re looking for but in a lot of cases succeed without you having to stump up the broker fees that go with it.
