Review posted Wed 24 Apr '13  ·  1 comment

Since the glory days of movies, when Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide was to be seen on pretty much every film fan's bookshelf, all of us movie buffs have wanted to create a database of films we have watched. The Maltin guides would often feature movie reviews highlighted in different colors for 'films seen' and 'films not seen yet' and this is where a specific iPhone app is the obvious choice to take its place. Watched is a beautiful looking film tracking and review application where you can list, rate, review and share your personal movie collection with your friends.   ... Read more

We've featured plenty of fun applications at FeedMyApp in the past that let you organize your life a little bit better and never let you forget important events in your life. This simple time tracking and reminder application lets you create categorized 'tickers' or timed ticking clocks, to remind yourself or share with others, important dates in your life. Could come in useful so you don't forget your mother-in-law's birthday or your anniversary.   LifeTicker Pro turns all your important people, things, events and big dates ... Read more

Review posted Wed 31 Oct '12  ·  1 comment

To be quite honest, if I lived in or was visiting, an area of the world that was prone to the odd earthquake, a GPS tracking application like this one would be one of the first things I would pick up. Earthquake Buddy is a new app that s designed to save lives and put your friends' and families' minds at rest. Download the app and nominate four friends or family members who are automatically contacted as soon as a quake larger than 5.5 on the Richter scale. The app will nail down your position on a map so that ... Read more

Review posted Mon 15 Oct '12

When you are creating a website, whether you are an amateur or a professional designer, it generally comes down to the feel and look of the site that dictates how you design the interface. There are standard rules for where you put stuff on your pages but it does tend to be a bit of a judgment call as to whether the whole package 'works' or not. Or is it? MouseStats is a tracking and analytics application the delivers detailed heat maps and analysis of all the mouse activity on your site to see if the positioning and information of ... Read more

Phone Tracker ENSURE YOUR SECURITY IN A...
Review posted Sun 7 Oct '12  ·  8 comments

Phone Tracker is a bit like having a well organized safety net for your smartphone and manages to deliver somewhat more than it first appears. And while its name suggests that this tracking application is purely around to track the location of your Android phone there are plenty of other really useful features that come with it. It puts a private detective in your phone to intuitively track GPS location and has the potential to keep an eye on your kids by checking phone and SMS details, Internet history as well as giving you a phone and email contact book. ... Review posted Fri 28 Sep '12  ·  2 comments

The thing about applications like this bug and issue tracking application is that most small businesses don't know that they need one until its too late. They tend to think of them as something that large companies do though it's probably even more important for the small guys to have exemplary customer relations not to mention being able to sort out their own problems. Bushido Tickets is a software development app that is designed for the individual developer that combines social elements with more traditional methods to identify and track problems to increase reliability and efficiency so that it's easier ... Storm Distance Calculator Stay safe from storms while...
Review posted Tue 18 Sep '12

There are apparently some 25 million lightning strikes in the US every year with around 400 people struck by lightning strikes and many of them on the wide open fields of sporting events. The most dangerous place to be, of course, is on the golf course where golf addicts always seem to want to play one more hole before the weather really kicks in. Now, I was always told you count five seconds for every mile that the storm is away, after the  lightning strike and when the thunder sounds. Storm Distance Calculator works on this theory and, with a ... Read more

Review posted Mon 3 Sep '12

Look, I have to tell you, Loc.Book was undoubtedly developed with people like me in mind. It's not that I get lost on a regular basis but, put me in one of those massive Westfield type multilevel shopping complexes that was probably designed by that Gruen fellow, and I'm a complete mess. Half the time I can't even remember which floor the shop I want to visit is on let alone it's location. I could use the store locator, I guess, but I could also use an app like Loc.Book to find my way back directly to the store I'm ... Read more
