[cont'd] But browsing is not everything you can do. With  you can take an active role in creating it’s content! You can create knowledge, send suggestions, interact with other users, link various pages together as alternatives, and more! To search for an alternative, simply enter a search phrase into the search field on the top of the main page, and click 'Show'. If any matches are found, you will be presented with a list of results that you can sort by rating, number of views, or relevance. You’ll be able to see the title, main image, short description and rank of each listed result. Once you have shown interest in an alternative you might want to check the credentials of the person who recommended it. Just click on their name for their profile and you will see the other items they may have recommended.

It's a very logical and sensible idea that's for sure. I'm the worst offender for thinking that the item I'm looking for is the best out there when it is clearly not necessarily true. Quite often the alternative might suit your needs better. Information is paramount and delivers it in spades. It really is just a question of entering in a description of the item you are looking for and pressing the 'show' button for the alternatives to be listed for you. Happy hunting.
