If ever there was an aspect of business life more deserving of some sort of choice then it surely has to be in matters relating to the law. Good legal advice and help, whether it be in the drafting of business documents or even representation in a Court case is never going to be cheap but at least with a number of providers to choose from you can gain some sort of control. Legal River can provide that choice and in a simple process can have the issue you need resolving in front of a number of suitable lawyers.
The procedure is hassle free, you just need to set up your account and set out your requirements. This is all made easier by the use of drop-down boxes for things such as area of law and the relevant state or states that the law should cover. To indicate when you need to retain a lawyer along with the required resolution date a calendar function will pop up to cover that. You will then be asked for a short description of the actual services you’re looking for.
Your personal and contact details are not accessible by any of the lawyers as their initial response to any request will be via the website. Only after you retain one will they have this information.
Within a day of posting your legal requirement you will start to get responses from interested lawyers and will be able to view their profiles side by side along with an estimate of their fees. Contact details will be provided and so you can call any or all of them to discuss suitability and get more information before making your choice of who to retain.
Once that’s done the deal is between you and the lawyer. The site charges nothing for businesses as they earn an advertising fee from member solicitors. You just pay the lawyer, and hopefully you’ll have had a variety to choose from. Either way it beats cold calling all of the names in the phone book.
This is an easy site to use and one that is also easy on the eye. Any business that doesn’t already have a retained lawyer could do a lot worse than putting their legal need on here.
