Peeps lets users send 10-second video messages to groups of friends. With a "hold-to-record, release-to-send" mechanism, the app bridges the gap between FaceTime and iMessage.
Peeps differs from competitors like Snapchat, Slingshot and Taptalk by allowing you view your video conversations back in sequence.
The aims of the app are simple yet also very ambitious. We want to create the fastest, most convenient way to communicate, and think the way to do that is to replicate real-life as closely as possible: nothing beats talking to someone face-to-face. Peeps facilitates that but, crucially, lets you do it at your own pace.
Peeps is free and is available for iOS on the iTunes App Store today.
