The Bible is full of good advice, encouragement, and pieces of wisdom to get us through our day. Unfortunately, it's difficult to quickly find the passages we need to help us in a specific situation or occasion. Passage Power solves that problem.
Power Passage is an app that uses a database which is actively managed by people who want to keep the Bible relevant to our daily lives. Passages are tagged with keywords by app users, and submitted to the database right through the app. Tagged passages are reviewed and then inserted into the database. All other users then have access to these tagged passages.
Power Passage Features:
-Fully functional in Spanish and English
-Continual data updates for as long as you own the app without any monthly fee
-World English Bible, King James Version, and American Standard Version included for the English language
-Reina-Valera Antigua version included for Spanish users
-Your data privacy is guaranteed - we will never sell or give away your email address or personal info
Power Passage is NOT a complete reference to the Bible, nor does it try to capture all the facts and events in the Bible. The passages that get tagged and put into the database are meant to:
-Help us through difficult situations
There are already thousands of tags in the database, and the number is growing quickly. Users are encouraged to contribute to the database and help all the other users at the same time. If you have a favorite passage and can't find a keyword in our list that best fits it, you can also request a new keyword to be added to the database. In this way, Power Passage can provide an ever-growing supply of scripture for just what we need.
Even keywords that might not have scripture directly speaking to the specific matter can be found in the Power Passage database. This is done by linking other keywords to it. For example, the Bible may not say much about losing a job, but in the Power Passage database the keyword "Lost Job" is linked to keywords like "God's Provision", "Perseverance" and other keywords that do have tagged passages. This keyword linking can expand the database of keywords far beyond topics specifically mentioned in the Bible, and provide scripture that will benefit people in many different situations.

Religion in general gets a pretty bad rap these days, doesn't it? Some say that it's on the decline. While a recent Gallop survey suggests that 40% of Americans go to church on the weekends, figures from the church itself put that figure at closer to 20%. That doesn't make it any less relevant to the way of life of millions of people around the world, though. I think it was comedian Steve Martin who said in the film "Grand Canyon" that "the answer to all life's problems are in the movies." Well, to many, the answer to all of life's problems are actually in the bible. It's just a question of reading between the lines and finding the passages that contain the answers you are looking for. Power Passage is a new bible search app for iOS that's a virtual database for finding positive and relevant passages from within the pages of the 'good book.'
Whether we are believers or not, it's hard to deny that the Bible is packed with good advice, encouragement and pieces of wisdom that many find essential to get them through their day. However, it's a massive tome and it can be hard work to find the specific passages that people need to help them through difficult situations. Power Passage solves that problem. The app draws from a vast database that is actively managed by people who's main aim is to keep the Bible...
