When it first started up, Facebook was a wonderful communication vehicle where friends and family could connect, share stories and be a joyous place to meet people and have a good time. Over the years much of that has changed. These days, while it still maintains many of those qualities, it seems to have evolved primarily into a money making machine for Mr Zuckerberg and co. Many have turned away from it because of its reluctance to crack down on fake news and hate speech. Oh and don't get me started on the evil statements that often appear in the comments sections. One thing's for sure: it's no place for the anxious, worried or more vulnerable amongst us. 

Given the horrendous times many of us have faced over the last year or so with the worries of Covid and isolation that sit on top of our normal everyday anxieties, it would be nice to create a social network that is dedicated to those with mental health and associated issues. Well, I'm pleased to say that now there is one. ShareSpace is a social media-like platform that delivers a safe place, sensible advice and helpful support to those of us who may be going through a tough time in life, whether that be anxiety and loneliness or family and relationship problems.
