The expenses app does all that you’d expect and has benefits for both employer and employee. General expense policy can be set as well as individual trip limits giving clear guidelines for staff.
For those out in the field recording expenses is easy and receipts can be scanned or emailed from a smartphone directly to the sutiexpense.com account. Once uploaded the system scans them and uses key information like merchant, amount and date to automatically populate the relevant fields. Users can then log in and enter further expense details where necessary at a later time. Credit card data can also be imported and then updated in the same way.
With all of this information accurately logged generating an expense report for approval is simple. Click to bring up a new blank report and enter the required details under the relevant categories and attach any receipts. Once completed a click of a button sends it off as an email to the designated approver.
The approver can drill down into individual items and see the detail and the receipts. The report will also alert him/her to any expense policy violations. Once the report is approved another simple click will send an alert to the member of staff concerned.
