[cont'd] major problems over the last few years has been the communication of alerts to the people that are most vulnerable and, because of this, there are a number of avenues available to receive alerts. WeatherHop provides a fast, easy and flexible customization of the alerts you would like to get from a variety of sources and supports voice, text, email, social and API driven notifications. You can configure the type of alerts you want for each type of severe weather and set up social alerts to notify your friends and family about tornadoes and other severe weather events via Facebook or Twitter.
Given the erratic nature of weather patterns over the last few years I think it's fairly safe to say that the wilder and more extreme elements of weather conditions are here with us for a bit longer yet. So it is vitally important, given the amount of technology available to us these days, that we are given an early warning on severe weather and WeatherHop utilizes the latest data to inform you if things are going to get a bit hairy. You get real time notifications about severe weather in your area before it happens. So next time I get notification of severe weather on the East coast I'll be sending out a Facebook warning via WeatherHop to let them know what they are in for.
