The site does much more than just point you in the right direction and should be seen as social network for careers advice, mentoring and education. With a profile page set up you can access and add to a wide range of information about careers and particular companies along with tips on how to get into them and likely salary ranges.
You can also join in discussions with others in a particular field and form groups and generally build up a network of useful contacts. The mentoring aspect is also high on the list of priorities with this site and anyone signing up can take advantage of the wisdom available. Better still, if you’re lucky enough to enjoy waking up on Monday’s then become a mentor yourself and show people how it’s done.
If you’re stuck in a rut or facing the job jungle for the first time then you’ll need all the help you can get. This freebie might just give you the edge you need to get a job that you actually want to do.
