Developer description

Zhura provides its members with the most powerful screenwriting application available online. Our advanced editing tool provides all of the important features you need to produce professionally-formatted scripts with ease. No more software to download, no more applications to upgrade, no more emailing scripts to yourself to get them on your other computer, and no more printing out hardcopies to collaborate with friends. In addition, you can work alone, with a group, or with the world. Your editing tools, scripts and writing partners are now as close as the nearest web browser.
With your free membership, you get access to three areas:

Personal: This is a workspace where you can create professionally formatted scripts with complete privacy and security. In the Personal area, Zhura is simply an advanced screenwriting tool that helps you manage your ideas and scripts. We also complete backups every night and give you access to powerful revision control tools.
Private Groups: You can create a private group and invite friends and colleagues to work in a fully collaborative workspace. Private groups are hidden from the rest of the world and can only be access by invited members. The Zhura editor allows the entire group to edit a script simultaneously, to leave notes in scripts, and chat online with each other. You can even see exactly what each member has written in the script with the click of a button.
Public: Collaborate with the world. In the Public area, you can apply a Creative Commons license to your script to let members from around the world read and comment on your script. With the right license, they can even help out with edits. Conversely, you can help fellow Zhura members work out problems with their scripts by contributing edits or giving feedback.

The time for Zhura is now. The Internet is everywhere, bandwidth is plentiful, and online storage is fast and secure. Why install some software that you’ll have to upgrade in a year? Why worry about compatibility with your friend’s version of software? Why email your script to a group and hope you can figure out what changes the other guys made or whether you’re working from the latest version?
The world is getting smaller and smarter. Welcome to Zhura.
