Comprehensive solution for commercial lending

Here’s an interesting one if lending money on a commercial basis is your thing. Having said that, it would seem nobody is lending money on a commercial basis if you believe the doom and gloom spread across most of the pink pages these days. That aside, this one looks like a good aide to getting both the processes and paperwork right for the smooth initiation, on-going operation and ultimate repayment of a commercial loan. Anyone who has worked in the industry, and in particular the smaller and perhaps not so blue-chip end of the market will know; documentation can ...  More

Another personal finance tracker - but does it cut the mustard?

As one of many personal finance trackers I have to say I’ve seen tidier looking examples than this one that apparently uses "cutting edge technologies to create the greatest user experience." I’ve no doubt it will do a job for you and it’s free so playing around with its functions is probably a good idea and you can do that without actually creating an account. I’d certainly recommend this course of action because the screenshots and advice given when you click on "help getting started" are not the clearest instructions you will ever read.  More

CashFlow is a simple cash management application

I’m not quite sure about this one. For a start the developer might want to go back and film his demo video without the glare of a fluorescent light behind the camera. The short clip is hard enough to fathom in the first place without that sort of distraction.  More

If you can ignore that then the app is a cash management tool developed especially for the iPhone, iPodTouch and iPad. It looks pretty basic with manual entry required for all inputs and balances. It can however support multiple cash, bank and credit card accounts and handle transfers between them. Entries can of course be tagged and categorized for easy search and analysis purposes.   More

Expense Reporting for the Individual

The Certify expense management app is very comprehensive and should make life a whole lot easier for both the guy out on the road and the poor bean counter back at the office.   More

Anyone who has had the pleasure of being a sales guy will know only too well how their car can quickly resemble a trash can with receipts for just about everything stuffed in any available space. The poor bean counter will also shudder at the thought of all those spread sheets coming in at the end of a month with crumpled and torn scraps of paper stapled to them. Then of course there are the missing ones as well!  More
