Taking photo recolorization to a new level

We do like a good photo app here at the FeedMyApp offices and, when a new one comes up for review, there's always a bit of a scramble to get to it first. Photo Delight was no exception to that and I'm in love with it already. All photo apps are the same, you say but that's where I beg to differ. I have several on my iPad and they all have very unique qualities. In fact, I'm now beginning to discover that by using several together, the end result can be even better. Photo Delight's claim to fame is that it allows you to load up your photo, have it stripped of color and recolored at your ...  More

Check out the Instagram vacation photos

While being a very simple photoshare application Instatrip surprisingly turns out to be quite an engaging little Instagram offshoot - especially for those who love to take photos of the fantastic places that they visit on their travels. And really, all you need to do is to tag your Instagram photos with their location as your photos are automatically generated out of your Instagram photostream. It's a place where you can create and share your photos from your vacation or holiday trips and share them with your friends as well as the rest of the world.   Many vacationers tend to take ...  More

Its Instagram with great frames, filters and collages

It's quite amazing just how many photo edit applications that there are available for mobile phones and tablets these days. I must have 5 or 6 on my iPad and, you know what? They all offer different and quite wonderful variations on the theme and I get quite excited when a new one comes along so I can see what it is going to do for me. There are one or two that have really taken off big time, of course, and none are bigger than the Instagram phenomenon. InstaGenius is a new photoshop editing application that contains multiple photo filtering techniques, great borders and frames as well as ...  More

Get socially romantic with chocolates, flowers and Weesh

After having a quick look at Weesh I realize that the art of romance is certainly not dead. If there is one thing that is certain, however, is that this couple-friendly social app is probably not going to hold a huge amount of interest for the single person - unless, of course, they have an imaginary friend stashed away somewhere. Weesh is an app to create a relationship timeline, share date night ideas, chat and share thoughts and photos with your partner. The only this missing for this free app is the flower shop and the box of chocolates.   Weesh is a place where you can record, ...  More

Turn your portraits into amazing mosaics

I'm sure we are all guilty of trying to find very cool new ways of turning your profile photos into eye-popping visual masterpieces. Anything to amaze your friends and get a response out of them. Print Mosaic is an ultra cool looking photo app that has its origins in the hippy days of the sixties when there would be those amazing posters for sale that were made using a mosaic of other photographs to paint a bigger picture. This app personalizes the process to let you select a photo from your Facebook, Instagram or Dropbox account and then 'color' it with a plethora of photos from the same ...  More

For when you want something done in a specific location...

So here's the scenario. The last time I was in San Francisco I spotted this cool alarm clock in Chinatown with Mao's face on the dial. Now for some reason that I'm not going to go into here, I didn't buy my Mao clock and have regretted it ever since. Wouldn't it be great if I had a friend there who I could just message and they could nip down there and pick me one up and send it over to me. Well we might not all have a friend in San Francisco but Map Of Needs could come to your rescue if you don't.   Map of Needs connects people needing something done in a specific location with ...  More

Set your Instagrams to your favorite music

We all know how the photo sharing application Instagram went when it was introduced in 2010 ... through the roof! For those of you that aren't aware Instagram is an application that lets you take a photo, treat it with special filters and share it with your social friends. tunegram takes the concept one step further, however, by introducing a musical element. And not just any kind of music. Rather than having someone like Robbie Williams crooning over your precious holiday photos, tunegram let's you share your current listening pleasure to aurally illustrate your photographic memories. ...  More

Illustrate your photo spreads with the stories behind them

Much as I love it when my friends put personal photos up there is something so much better when they are accompanied by a bit of a spiel to tell us viewers the circumstances of the event. A picture of a beach is a picture of a beach no matter how photogenic it is but if you knew that it was the place where your friends saw dolphins in the water and had a romantic picnic then it changes the whole scenario. Rewindy is a photoshare app that turns into a storytelling app by allowing you to create a visual story of your photos accompanied by some personal thoughts about the time and place. ...  More
