A lawyer in your pocket?

I suppose there comes a time in most people’s lives when they are actually pleased to see a lawyer riding in from the distance. This feeling of relief will be felt no less strongly if you’ve just been involved in a road accident or are about to be arrested for driving under the influence or whilst intoxicated. Whilst the friendly lawyer won’t exactly be riding in from the distance with this app he or she will only be as far away as your pocket. And as long as you’re not too intoxicated or “influenced”, a few dextrous movements of the thumbs will get ...  More

Increase sales by Increasing Trust

There's only one word that is important in online trading and that's trust. High Street stores love to advertise that they have been around for years and that you can trust them implicitly but there's not really any retro verification online. One site looks much like any other and most people wouldn't have a clue as to whether it was trustworthy or not. That's why companies like Pay Pal exist. TrustRoll is an ecommerce marketing security tool where you can collect all your trust scores from eBay, Artfire, Etsy and others in one place for your customers to see.     TrustRoll ...  More

Send notes that will self-destruct after being read

This is an interesting one and if you can get yourself comfortable with the site’s privacy promises then feel free to join the James Bond club.   More

I’m really not sure how many people would go to the bother of sending a self-destructing message. On top of that, and even despite the privacy promises, if something was that secret then entrusting it to a third party website is not very MI5 or CIA.  More

Why is it that sometimes you are the last to know when your email account has been hacked. Your ISP knows, the people that hacked your account know and it seems some Indian guy that keeps calling me up also knows that my computer has been compromised. It's a very simple service that tracks and monitors your email account for suspicious activities and let's you know via your phone immediately if it finds anything iffy. ...  More
